Questions before you start?

Yes. The finishing canvas supports 9:16, 1:1, and 16:9 output framing. Manual crop and repositioning let you fit the source inside the chosen canvas.

Fit keeps the complete source visible and may show the canvas background. Fill covers the canvas and may crop the edges of the source video.

Yes. Crop is manual in the current workflow: drag to reposition the source and adjust crop zoom. The product does not claim automatic smart reframing.

Not currently. Trim is intentionally limited to the start and end of the source window. The product is a focused caption-first finisher, not a full multi-track editor.
